TEDxCocoaBeach has invited John Torres, an award-winning news columnist to emcee the March 23rd event. The emcee is responsible for keeping the show rolling, introducing the speakers, and inviting conversation during the breaks.
John Torres is an award-winning news columnist, podcaster and author. He graduated from Fordham University and has worked for United Press International and Gannett. John has authored more than 60 non-fiction books for middle-schoolers. In his spare time John loves to write and perform music , act on stage in community theater, reading on the beach and spending time with his family.
